If you have extra non-hazardous household waste that will not fit in your green can, or an accumulation of recyclables that will not fit into your blue can, you can take them to the city’s landfill near I-17 and Happy Valley Road. See the instructions provided on the website to see how residents can generally use the facility without charge.
Several times a year, the city accepts certain designated hazardous materials at special events. The city’s website gives the details, including times, dates and locations. The most convenient facility for Tatum Village residents is generally the Paradise Valley Community Center, north of Bell Road on the west side of 40th Street.
